A polyartistic solo

“Hinsichtlich der Frage” (As For The Question) is a polyartistic solo in which poems are danced, sung and spoken. It is a piece that carries within itself the desire to create a vital inner self, to find a way out of existential loneliness, while at the same time challenging this attempt.

The half-closed/half-open black-and-white space is filled with a back and forth of video projections cut into geometric shapes with multilingual writings. It is a transformational journey through implied, pictorial or real places. Between the piano and the dancing body, the supporting music and the words that refer to other places. Between black and white, writing in several languages ​​and dance, between the walls, real or projected, and the floor.

With regard to the question, I want to create a gesture of abundance and engagement, physical, ideal and emotional. A self-reflection that questions itself through the shared experience with the audience. It is the questioning of a woman who presents herself to the audience through “her” arts in a defined, privileged and charged space-time and examines the nature of her gestures.

In this "staging of myself" I try to break through the illusion of appearances by playing with identity, looking back at myself and reinventing reality in order to express that art joins life and can bring about change. It is an invitation to participate sensitively, to awaken what we have in common and thus to recognize otherness, its subjectivity and difference.
